The Fox and Hounds Country Hotel enjoys a secluded location in the Devon countryside, ideal for quiet and relaxation. But we’re just minutes from local amenities and a short drive to a wealth of activities and attractions as well as local villages, towns and cities.
Centrally located between Exmoor and Dartmoor, the villages of Chulmleigh to the north and Lapford to the south are about 5 minutes drive for easy access to petrol and convenience shops and post offices. We have the small towns of South Molton and Crediton half an hour away and Exeter, Tiverton, Barnstaple and the North Devon Coast about 45 minutes from the hotel.

For more than 100 years, The Fox & Hounds has been a destination for anglers.
