Medical Emergency
In the event of a severe medical emergency, please dial 999 and alert reception. For less critical medical conditions please dial 111.
For night time emergencies, please call 07487 539237 to alert the onsite night manager.
Exeter and Barnstaple both have A&E departments and are approximately 40 minutes away.
There is a defibrillator on the premises, located outside on the north wall of the building, near the north cottages. Turn left out of reception, then left down the lane, after the wall, and the unit is on the wall of the hotel building, in a yellow box.
Doctors
The nearest medical centre is Wallingbrook Health Centre in Chulmleigh. To make an appointment or see a doctor, you will need a temporary registration. Please call 01769 580295 and they will be happy to help with the registration and appointment process.
The have a dispensary which is open Monday to Friday 08:30 – 18:30.
Dentists
Unfortunately most dentists in the area will not see new patients, however myDentist in Crediton is one of the few exceptions, and has helped a number of guests in the past. Subject to capacity, they may be able to do same day appointments. Please call 01363 772020 if you have a dental emergency.
Vets
If your pet has any problems during your stay, most of the hotel employees use St Boniface Veterinary Clinic in Crediton. They are happy to see the pets of guests and you should call 01363 772860 to register and set up an appointment.
