Chef de Partie/Commis Chef
We have a vacancy for one or two energetic Chef de Partie/ Commis chefs to join our talented team. The Chef de Partie will be able to participate in menu decisions, the trialling of new dishes and training on new techniques in our large airy and well equipped kitchen.
These are full time permanent positions which may be job shared and will include both daytime and evening shifts.
Reporting to the Head Chef and Sous Chef, the successful candidate will be talented and creative with a passion for culinary excellence and a desire to learn new skills on different sections.
Formal culinary training or equivalent experience required.
Front of House
We are seeking experienced Front of House staff to work in the restaurant and bar of The Fox and Hounds Country Hotel. As a public facing representative of the hotel, smart appearance and a friendly outgoing disposition are important as is your ability to help ensure guests are well looked after.
The positions may be offered on a Full Time or regular part time basis and shifts are available both morning and evening.
Shift/Bar Manager (F/T)
We are seeking a Shift Manager with a specialty in bar management. Working as part of a team of Shift Managers, you will be responsible for the delivery of front of house services during the period of your shift, including meal service, light reception duties and bar management.
Reporting to the General Manager and overseeing a team of front of house staff, the ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in hospitality with bar and dining facilities and have experience in a supervisory role.
Kitchen Porter (P/T or Shifts)
We are seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our team at the Fox & Hounds. This position is offered on a part time or shift basis and may be suitable for more than one candidate.
Working in a busy commercial kitchen you will be responsible for washing, drying and restacking kitchen and service wares and assisting with general kitchen functions. For candidates who are interested, there may be opportunities to assist with food preparation and presentation and/or Front of House activities.
